👋 Relaunching! It's been a while since my last post, and life has certainly kept me busy with a few unexpected twists and turns. After a rewarding but demanding decade in the restaurant industry, the arrival of my first grandchild inspired a major life shift—it was time to trade the restaurant's stress for more time with family.

I still have a passion for cooking and recipe creation, but for now, the restaurant chapter is happily closed.

2025 Focus: We've made the leap and moved from Franklin, TN to Tampa full-time! My energy is now fully dedicated to consulting, real estate, and business lending. My personal time will feature a healthy 'minor' in travel and lifestyle—a much-needed change of pace. The best part? Our grown children are nearby, making this new chapter even sweeter.

NRA 2012 - A Great Show!

NRA was great this year. I am happy to say that it was our second year showing there. The National Restaurant Association show brings out the most qualified buyers of any of the shows we do. We had so much positive feedback about the burgers. People seemed to love them! Some even said it was the best item they tried at the show. When my Shark Tank  buddy James Martin, from Copa Di Vino stopped by, there was quite a frenzy. I have not seen him in person since we filmed the episode that changed our lives.

This year I did not have much time to go and visit/ sample at the other exhibitors' booths. Next year I plan on scheduling more time to walk the show to avoid leaving without getting a chance to try new foods.


We did get a chance to go visit a custom food truck manufacturer. Stay tuned because you may be seeing a Chef Big Shake food truck in your area soon! Besides the Shrimp Burger, what would you want to see on the menu?
